You'll receive a retrieval document with a unique code. Leave it with your will, attorney, or someone you trust. They enter the code on our site and upload verification. We also run annual check-ins and monitor public records as a backup.
Your letters, your rules. Add new ones, update recipient addresses, or retrieve letters anytime through your account.
As long as your account is active. We hold letters indefinitely — even if a payment lapses, we keep your letters safe during a generous grace period and never destroy them.
Our annual check-in asks you to verify recipient addresses. If a letter can't be delivered, we work with your trigger contact and use professional address-finding services to locate the recipient.
We're developing a formal business continuity plan to ensure your letters are never abandoned. In the event of any ownership transition, customers will be notified at least 90 days in advance.
